The tears about Bourdain finally came when I remembered that episode of "No Reservations" where he had dinner at Le Bernardin with a cook who'd worked there for years but had never been able to sit for dinner at his own restaurant.
I've already received one phone call from a friend in tears, and I expect to have more of those conversations today. Bourdain meant a lot to a lot of people, and we're all processing this in different ways. The suicide hotline is: 1-800-273-8255
