Big scoop from my colleague @KathPender: 22 more coronavirus cases suspected on cruise ship evacuees, including 16 at Travis Air Force Base: sfchronicle.com/bayarea/articl…
A crazy tale from my colleague @KathPender about a California couple who went from the ill-fated Diamond Princess cruise ship to quarantine on a Texas base, where they can't even get booze delivered: sfchronicle.com/business/netwo… #coronavirus
@thejdmorris, our tireless energy reporter, is at the courthouse for a major PG&E hearing with a federal judge who's been closely scrutinizing the utility's safety record. Follow him for live tweets.
So if the 14 Americans who flew back from the Diamond Princess cruise ships despite having coronavirus had their tests administered *2-3 days earlier,* it stands to reason that quite a few more airlifted evacuees are infected -- again, if the test-to-results lag time is 2-3 days.
